Connect FeedNest to Le Chat via Custom MCP Connectors. Available on all tiers including free.

Prerequisites

Free tier supported

Le Chat's MCP connector feature is available on all plans, including the free tier.

Setup

  1. 1

    Open MCP Connectors

    In Le Chat, go to Sidebar → Intelligence → Connectors.

    Add a custom connector

    Click + Add Connector → Custom MCP Connector.

  3. 3

    Configure the server

    Fill in the following fields:

    NameFeedNest
    Server URLhttps://mcp.feednest.com
    Auth typeAPI Token Authentication
    AuthorizationBearer fn_live_...
  4. 4

    Save and verify

    Click Save. The FeedNest tools should appear immediately, no restart required.

Verify your connection

After setup, try one of these prompts to confirm everything is working:

  • →“What are my unread articles?”
  • →“Summarize my latest saved articles”
  • →“How many feeds am I subscribed to?”

Troubleshooting

Connector shows as disconnected

Verify the server URL is https://mcp.feednest.com and your API key is valid. Try removing and re-adding the connector.

Tools not available in chat

Ensure the connector is toggled on in the Intelligence panel. Some tools may take a moment to load after first connecting.
